Looks like that local man with a chain saw was at it again!
Rather than remove this stand of trees that were dying, he was evidently allowed
to carve this beautiful figurines out of wood. They are a true tribute to his
skills and add something special to tourists to see.
The rest of Empire Park looks to be all set for people to
enjoy are the summer is now just around the corner. Lake
levels look to be good and it doesn’t look as though we’ll suffer the torrential
rains that fell last year!
